He is a tenured professor at Washington & Lee University School of Law, where he also serves as the Director of AI Legal Innovation Strategy. With over 25 years of experience at the forefront of digital law, Joshua brings an unmatched combination of academic depth, global legal insight, and real-world litigation expertise to his expert witness work.

Joshua’s expert reports and testimony have been central in high-stakes matters involving digital property disputes, cryptocurrency fraud and recovery, virtual asset and server seizure, smart contract enforceability, blockchain misuse, platform liability, and the legal implications of machine learning and AI.
